Black History Month Playlist 2020

I grew up in the home of the Delta blues and up the River from the birthplace of jazz. Church shoes tapping wood floors, soulful gospel, and shape-note music gave me the rhythm of my worship. I’ve always grooved to the 80s and 90s R&B. Hip hop even helped me burn a calorie or two. Black music is the soundtrack of my life and even therapy in those times I needed a lyric to get me through.
